Each package contains: 1 color reference test card, 1 cotton swab, and 1 pH test strip.

A normal and healthy vagina will range 3.8 to 4.5 which is considered “slightly acidic”.

An abnormal vaginal pH range higher (more alkaline) or lower (more acidic) may present with symptoms of odor, discharge, itching, and or change in discharge.

The test is not intended to test for pregnancy, fertility, HIV, chlamydia, herpes, gonorrhea, syphilis, group B streptococcus, or any other sexually transmitted infections.

Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and thoroughly dry hands.
Carefully remove the pH swab from the package by the handle, keep the indicator test square face up, and do not allow it to touch anything.
Place one end of the swab between your thumb and forefinger. Spread and hold your labia apart with the other hand. Then, gently insert the swab directly into the vaginal opening to only make contact with the vaginal wall and hold for 5 seconds.
Gently apply and rub the swab onto the pH test strip, wait for 30 seconds, and then compare the pH test strip to the color reference test card.
Properly dispose of all products in the trash receptacle.
Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
